This small stone arch crosses a small drainage creek known as Polecat Creek.
Built in 1899 during the double tracking of this route, the arch features a single span of standard design.
Small stone arch culverts like these are known for crossing small creeks and cattle passes, such as this one.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in excellent condition. It is evident however that two stone headwall blocks on the southwest quadrant of the structure were built of poor quality material, and have begun to fail.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
